Our Managing Partner, Mr. Ravi R. Pinjani is a Barrister-at-Law (Gray’s Inn, UK), who is also an
alumnus of the Columbia University (New York), where he was awarded the Justice Harlan Fiske
Stone Scholar award in consideration of his achievements during the course of his Master of Laws
(LL. M). He is also a recognized Fulbright Scholar through the Department of State, USA. Mr.
Pinjani was called to the Bar of England and Wales through the Honourable Society of Gray's Inn
and is also on the Sindh Bar Council's roll of Advocates, where he is admitted to practice in
the High Courts of Pakistan; and is also, now an Attorney-at-Law, with practice rights in the
state of New York, USA.
Mr. Pinjani has substantive experience in litigation and corporate consultancy involving oil and
gas projects, Securities and Exchange laws, educational institutions, civil services, banking
and financial institutions, print and electronic media, construction contracts, property issues,
companies’ jurisdiction, guardian and wards, foreigners’ laws, admiralty jurisdiction, insurance
laws, contract, tort and inheritance. He is also involved in the establishment of a wind-based
power project alongside having rendered consultancy services to a vast array of corporate
clients and governmental institutions.
Alongside legal practice, Mr. Pinjani is also an Assistant Professor of Jurisprudence at
The corporate practice of our firm is headed by the firm’s Partner, Mr. Umair R. Vadria, B.A.,
LL.B (Hons.). Mr. Vadria has vast experience in corporate, company and commercial law
consultancy and legal advisory including corporate structuring, advising on regulatory regime
and affairs, public sector and infrastructure development projects, corporate financing, project
financing, acquisitions, term finance certificate (bond) issues, energy sector, oil and gas
sector, mergers and acquisitions, environmental law, taxation and intellectual property related
transactions and other miscellaneous corporate services such as rendering of opinions, drafting
of agreements and other documents of a legal nature.
Mr. Vadria has been actively involved with the Government of Sindh in relation to various
projects being undertaken under the head of Public Private Partnerships and has concluded
various transactions in this respect and has experience in the setting up of financing of power
projects based on both conventional forms of energy and alternate renewable energy sources
(wind, biogas, bio-waste to energy and hydel).
Mr. Vadria has been involved in multiple arbitration proceedings both within Pakistan and

Alina Wasim Quadri is a Barrister-at-Law, member of the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn,
having completed the Bar Professional Training Course (BPTC) from the City Law School, City
University London, and her LLB (Hons.) from the University of London (International Programmes).
She is an Associate at our firm, and provides assistance to the seniors in litigation cases in a
civil and commercial capacity. She also facilitates in a wide range of corporate matters
including provision of legal opinions on various areas of law such as company law and
competition commission laws, and drafting of agreements and contracts.
SYED MAQBOOL HUSSAIN SHAH
Syed Maqbool Hussain Shah is a Barrister-at-Law, member of the Honourable
Society of Lincolns Inn, having completed the Bachelor of Laws from
Univeristy of London in 2011, the Bar Professional Training Course from
Cardiff University in 2013 and Master of Laws (International Commercial
Law) from Cardiff University in 2014.
He is an Associate at our firm and has extensive litigation experience in a
wide range of Civil, Criminal, Constitutional and Corporate cases. Mr. Shah
has also conducted various researches in relation to Tax Laws, Custom Laws,
Environmental Laws, Labour Laws, Banking Laws, Intellectual Property Laws,
Family and Inheritance Laws. He is also involved in drafting written
replies and arguments in cases and legal opinions for various corporate
entities. He is appearing regularly before the Honourable District Courts
of Pakistan and assists seniors and partners in court proceedings conducted
in the Honourable High Courts of Pakistan.
Mr. Shah is also involved in corporate and legal matters that includes
incorporation of new companies; in particular vetting and drafting of
non-financial and financial contracts and other commercial agreements;
drafting of concerned legal documents and opinions on the company’s
commercial and legal issues.

Hamza Hussain Hidayatallah is a member of the Honourable Society of Middle Temple, having
completed his LLB(Hons) from the University of London (International Programmes). He is an
Associate at our firm and provides assistance to seniors in litigation pertaining to civil and
commercial matters. He has also been involved in a wide range of corporate matters including
provision of legal opinions on various areas of law such as; as company law, trade mark law,
commercial law and drafting and vetting agreements, trusts, contracts and so on.
